Steve Wiggins

Wiggins is SAI's Founder and CEO. He is responsible for the overall operation of the company worldwide. Over the years, he has helped many young people realize their dreams of GRADUATING from college and playing college sports.

Stephen was a high school basketball player. An excellent student, he was recruited by and attended Trinity University in San Antonio to play basketball. Lack of finances forced him to leave. After working full time, he enrolled at Prairie View A&M University. Having NEVER played football before, he walked on his junior year. With the help of great coaching, he received a full scholarship, earned Co-Defensive MVP honors, and graduated with a degree in Mathematics.  

In 1987 he signed with the Cleveland Browns but sustained a major injury in training camp.  In 1989, Steve was a starting Defensive Back on Saskatchewan's Grey Cup Championship team. That game is considered one of the greatest Grey Cup games in the CFL's history.  Steve scored a safety in that game.

​His experience in the business and athletic fields is vast. He has held various leadership positions at NASA, in the petroleum and real estate industries. In fact, he even worked at NASA while still playing in the CFL!!

At the college level Stephen has worked as an Assistant Athletic Director, Director of Academic Enhancement, Recruiting Coordinator, Defensive Coordinator, and assistant coach. He has been a Head Coach in the professional Indoor Football League, and a high school athletic director, head coach, coordinator and assistant coach.  

He brings experience, passion, and an intense work ethic when helping SAI clients reach their goals.
